Stroup Family Photos

I decided since I have found more old Stroup photos that I would have a page to share these photos on. These will be photos that aren't in my direct line tree but will be of interest to other Stroup's. I will do my best to identify them but can't promise I can find them all.

If you want to send me photos of your Stroup's just drop me a email. Click here. I would love to post them. This is a great way to share old photos.

This is our Stroup Group for exchanging Stroup information and thoughts. We are interested in all lines of Stroups. We have photos and documents from North Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, and Alabama Stroups plus others. I have Ethel Stroupe's files and am posting them as fast as I can convert them from Apple to Windows files. She has Bio's on most of the early Stroups which I have posted. We have several members that are very active in research and make frequent "road trips", so come join us and enjoy all the information available.

Samuel was the son of Silas Stroup (1816)

Charlotte Johnson Stroup with two of her children. I would guess they are her two girls. We are guessing that is her mother Elizabeth Reid Johnson (1819) on the left.

Samuel Alexander Stroup's four sons

Samuel Alexander Stroup's two daughters. Susan Stroup (1875) on the left and Polly (1877) on the right. I would guess this photo was taken about 1900.

Reiley Kidd has the original photos and would love to send them to a direct descendant. These photos came from Ethel Belle Stroupe's files.
