Welcome to the newest member of the "Shooting Stroup's" family. Mrs. Jim Stroupe better known as Francie. She has been caring for Uncle Jim for some time and I have to say she has done miracles for him. I welcome this beautiful lady into our family with open arms.

1939 Cherryville Football Team. That's Jim number 21 in the front row far right. I didn't copy the scores because it wasn't pretty. Jim was the punter. If you played in the Friday game you got into the movie for free on Saturday needless to say Jim didn't miss any movies during football season. They did a lot of punting that year.

No Jim wasn't in the Navy. When that photo was made Jim was in the Marine Corps. At this time he was in Navy Cook school and the Marines were part of the Navy. The Cook school required him to wear a Navy uniform. Needless to say Jim was not a happy camper.

These photos were taken when Jim was living in the state of Washington. Second photo is Gisele helping Jim hold up that whopper.
