cousins, lived in the same Upper Hoyle’s Creek neighborhood.

about 26), 3 females under 9, 1 female aged 26 - 25 (his 2nd wife Peggy

listings, his first farm seemed to adjoin that of his father Adam Stroup. This should be
the David Stroup who later moved his family to Bull Creek, Buncombe, western
North Carolina, to live near his older brother Joseph (born 1776)
